The novel coronavirus has changed the way we live and work forever, but with a few workplace adjustments, you can continue to stay safe, slow the spread of infection, and help flatten the curve.

#1: Keep Washing Hands

Hand-washing is one of the most powerful ways to kill virus molecules, with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. You can also sanitize, but the CDC recommends using an alcohol-based sanitizer with 60-95% alcohol. Hand-washing is, however, favored.

#2: Cough and Sneeze Into Your Elbow

Encourage others around you to never cough or sneeze into their hands. This action, followed by touching shared surfaces, is one of the main ways in which the virus is spread.

#3: Keep Workstations Clean

Regular sanitization of high touch-point surfaces, like countertops, doorknobs, and remote controls, can kill the virus and help keep workers safe. However, it’s crucial to use cleaning agents with labels that state that the product is able to kill 99.9% of known viruses.
